This remarkable magazine has grown from a simple seniors newsletter to a major monthly newspaper, appealing to a broad age group of readers.
The Round-A-Bout has a monthly circulation of 1,500 copies and over 6,000 readers. In a Shire of 17,100 residents, a 35% population reach every month is a great testimony to the value and relevance of the content, in the eyes of the Burdekin community.
It is 100% self funded by advertising from local business houses.
Every edition is circulated free of charge to a growing list of regular subscribers and is supplied to our advertisers, BCA clients, Meals on Wheels, Ayr Pensioners League, Ayr Senior Citizens, Home Hill Trimmers, Burdekin Laurel Club, Burdekin Probus Club, Burdekin Legacy, Aged Homes - Ayr & Home Hill, Ayr Library, Home Hill Library, Burdekin Shire Council, Ayr Centrelink, Ayr Bowls Club, Bluecare, Red Cross, Salvation Army, all Pharmacies, Hospitals, Doctors, Accountants, Financial Advisors, and selected newsagencies.
The ongoing success of the Round-A-Bout magazine is due to a team effort by our capable volunteers of Ann-Marie Lesca (Editor), Dawn Pickering, Carol Schofield, Glenys Cislowski, Marilyn Lesca, Robert Lesca, and the dedicated team of distribution volunteers. |
