Home & Community Care Services:

BCA Home Care Services assist the frail aged, younger people with a disability and their carers to become more independent at home and in the community, thereby enhancing their quality of life and preventing their inappropriate admission to long term residential care.

Services offered to eligible clients include: Transport, Respite Care, Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Shopping Assistance, Lawn Mowing, Personal Care, Counselling/Support, Information and Advocacy.

Services are provided via funding through the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program, Veterans' Home Care (VHC) Program.

Minimal fees charged for services and donations from the community.

Burdekin residents can apply for services by telephoning 4783 3744, by visiting The Support Centre - 130 Queen Street, Ayr or emailing the service co-ordinator.
